Eaton LCXH31A0-5A7N2 – Presenting the LCX Liquid Cooled Drive series, Eaton's latest innovation harnessing liquid cooling technology as an alternative to traditional air-cooling methods. These drives employ potable water or water-glycol mixtures as cooling mediums, offering numerous advantages. Their compact design and low heat transfer rates enable significant enclosure size reduction, particularly beneficial for UL Type 4X applications. Featuring a modular design, control and power modules are independent, allowing direct or extended connection via a fiber optic cable. With the same trusted control module and operating system as SPX air-cooled drives, they ensure reliability. The CE mark guarantees compliance with EMC and LVD directives. These drives boast a robust track record with over 500,000 hours MTBF based on MIL 217 standards. Communication-wise, they support DeviceNet, PROFIBUS-DP, Modbus RTU, and Modbus TCP protocols.
